The trend of felt hats has been popular this season and it is set to continue through to Autumn/ Winter.

Felt hats with wide brims are among the most popular styles for this season. They are great for easily achieving a chic, sophisticated look while also being practical during the colder months.

Our full Autumn/Winter range, which includes a variety of felt hats, is now available in our Abergavenny store. We have fun felts in bright colour tones with large floral details, as well as more muted tones which have classic styling.

Couture Millinery

Over the years Alison Tod has created some iconic pieces of millinery, allowing her to become established within the fashion world. For customers looking for something totally unique one of Alison's bespoke pieces is the perfect solution.

Here she has created a fun feather filled yellow hat finished with a black bow detail. Originally inspired by food this hat was named 'The Lemon Roulade' and it also won a Fashion award in 1996, 

This hat was created for the Qasimi show at London Fashion Week, modelled here by legend Carmen Dell'Orefice. This dark feather hat with it's sweeping shape compliments the victorian gothic style garments beautifully.

This eye-catching piece features a mix of interesting feather textures, finished with a dragonfly detailing. It is shown here being modelled at somerset house during London fashion week 2011.

Goodwood Revival Hats

In preparation for Goodwood Revival which takes place on 12th - 14th September we have gathered some of best vintage hats which are most appropriate for the occasion. 

Since 1998 the Goodwood circuit have hosted an annual three day festival. The event features many vintage racing cars & motorcycles which would have once raced at the course. To coincide with the vintage theme the guests go to great lengths to dress in period style. As a result the event has an incredible nostalgic atmosphere.   

During the war some of the only items that weren't rationed were hat materials, so during this time feathers, flowers and veiling were very popular in hat designs. 

This pastel pink disc shaped hat is perfect accessory to compliment the traditional victory roll hairstyle. Finished with a subtle tone flower detail this piece will add a touch of femininity to any outfit. 

Actress Emerald Fennell is photographed here wearing a blue tone, feather filled, vintage inspired hat. To add an element of fun she has teamed it with a dress from her sister Coco Fennell's collection called 'Play your Cards Right'.
